The Wild Ass Sanctuary of Little Rann of Kutch was established on 12th January 1973. The desert links with four districts, 11 Talukas and 107 villages along the Little Rann of Kutch.

Imagine a flat cracked land with vast horizon …… mirage-----but very rich biodiversity, that is Little Rann of Kutch. LRK is a 15th biosphere reserve and largest sanctuary in India and a world heritage site.

By Air:
The nearest Air ports are Ahmadabad about 190 k.m., Rajkot 190 k.m. and Bhuj is about 200 k.m. from Eco Camp.

By Rail:
Dhrangadhra is situated around 18 k.m from the Sanctuary and 130 k.m. from Ahmadabad railway station. The place is connected to all the major cities in the region.

By Road:
Dhrangadhra and halvad is well connected with other important places in the State by the State Transport buses,
as well as luxury coaches operated by private companies.

Dhrangadhra town is situated on the very Ahmadabad – Kutch National High way Road.
